JAMES WALKER TURNBULL

Died December 17, 2006 at age 70 in New Port Richey, FL. Preceded in death by his brother, Eugene, and son, Thomas. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Ilene, of New Port Richey, FL; brother, John of New Port Richey; sister, Dorothy Davis of Waldorf, MD; son, James W. Jr. of North Beach, MD and by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Born March 31, 1936 in Washington, DC. Retired from the United States Navy after 23 years as a Seabee, serving two tours in Vietnam and twice in Antarctica. He owned and operated a golf club repair business in Wayzata, MN for 20 years. He was an avid golfer who had three holes-in-one and carried an 8 handicap for several years. He belonged to Elks Lodge #2221 in Hopkins, MN. He was a winter resident of New Port Richey since 2003, and moved permanently from Wayzata, MN in late 2005. Services private.
