Jeffrey Rasmussen Obituary
JEFFREY MICHAEL RASMUSSEN (33)
Of Dale City died December 17, 2006. Jeff is survived by his parents, Michael and Linda Rasmussen; his daughter, Jay'viana Rasmussen; his ex-wife Sarita Rasmussen; his step-son Jermaine Morris; his maternal grandmother, Elinor Lemon and his paternal grandmother, Gladys Rasmussen. Jeff is preceded in death by his brother, Wesley. Jeff grew up in Dale City, Graduated from Gar-field Senior High School in 1991 and recently received an Associate Degree from NVCC in Criminal Justice. He owned and operated A&E Landscaping. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 21, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at MOUNTCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA 22193 where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.

JEFF WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND MY HEART TRULY GOES OUT TO YOUR FAMILY. I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY FEW TO KNOW BOTH JEFF AND WES. I'M TRULY AT A LOST OF WORDS BUT DO KNOW THAT HEAVEN NOW HAS A NEW ANGEL TO LOOK DOWN ON YOU.
HIS DAUGHTER IS BLESSED TO HAVE HAD A FATHER LIKE JEFF. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL WHO WAS GRACED BY HIS PRESENCE.

I was shocked to hear about Jeff and my deepest sympathy goes out to the whole family...I haven't seen Jeff in years but I have a lot of fond memories of growing up with him. We went to day camp together and then on into high school..My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this time...

My prayers go out to the whole fam. Jeff was one of the first people I met when I moved to the area and he will surely be missed by everyone that really knew him.
Jeff put me in my first band before the fam got Point blank band on the map and now Target Squad Records. At the end of the day life is a series of memories. Me,Jeff, and the fam had some really good ones fa sho. We used to have band practice at Jeff's hose everyday after school. Around that smae time Jeff's younger brother Wes made his exit as well. "South WES" is not to be forgotten. Just like everybody else when I heard of Jeff"s passing I was shocked and still am. Jeff did plant a seed while he was hear and she will carry his legacy as she grows. I hope when she grows older she knows that her father was one of the realist in the game and looked out for a lot of people.

You will be greatly missed. I met you back in GarField High, and we always crossed paths over the years. When I heard you were gone instantly the memories began to play threw my mind on how we hung out and we (our crew) was a family. My prayers go out to the Rasmussen family. I met Jeff and Wes at summer camp at the Dale City Rec Center in 1987 and attended Gar-Field High School with Jeff. I met Jeff back in the early 90's and he became a good friend of mine. I haven't seen him in a few years, but his friendship still meant a lot to me. He's definitely gone to heaven in my eyes. His mother and father will always be dear friends of mine. He'll always be "White Boy" Jeff to me.

Mike and Linda:
I was so saddened to open the paper this morning and read about Jeff. I will always have fond memories of him and Wesley. I didn't see him often, but each and every time that I ran into him, he was always very pleasant, polite, and respectful. I enjoyed our conversations. I can't even begin to imagine your pain, but I have been praying for you today. I know that it has to be so difficult for us to understand why, but I pray that one day we will know that there was a purpose. May God bless and comfort you.
