BURGIN, JOSEPH K.
On October 22, 2004, beloved and devoted husband of Shirley Burgin. He is survived by five children, Diane Hunter, Joseph Burgin Jr., Vickie Evans, Ronald Burgin and Katrina Burgin; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at CEDAR HILL FUNERAL HOME, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Rev. Dr. E. Allen Stewart, officiating. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21201 in the name of Joseph K. Burgin.

To the children....I know you probably feel like orphans now since both parents are gone, but thank God that he choose Virginia and Joseph to be your parents.
To the daughters: There is a special connection between daugthers and fathers...simply because our fathers are the first men we learn love from.
To the widow...cherish the memories.
If any of you need to talk, cry, or just want to know that someone cares, contact me.
Regret I will not be able to attend the services, but I'll be there for you after the shock, reality, etc.
Know that earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal.
