Thought of Justin two days ago. It was his unrestrained joy in living that will forever be a good example to the rest of us. Absolutely confident that he is "where the streets are guarded by United States Marines". S/F

I still think of Justin. To my mind he will always be "the happy warrior". In northern European pre-Christian culture, a person achieved immortality by being remembered long after their death. Dahlia, your Justin will always be remembered.

Justin - never thought of you as wounded warrior - rather just the warrior I always wanted to be. Thank you for your good example. Will see you where the streets are guarded by Marines. S/F Robert Maguire

I just learned of Justin's passing, and am extremely heartbroken over this unfortunate news. One thing that we all knew about Justin was he was a courageous fighter and strong advocate of veteran and family issues. I'm saddened that we lost such a wonderful and engaging patriot. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. I share in grieving over his passing.

With your participation you made our annual wounded warriors golfing events at Hidden Creek Country Club in Reston, VA, very special. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing veterans' memorials in Washington, DC, for your Veterans Calendar. You are an inspiration to us. We'll cherish your friendship and memories for as long as we live.
