KAREN C. LUIGGI  
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, Karen C. Luiggi, the loved wife of Mark Luiggi and mother of three (Alexa, Matthew and Michael) of Manassas, VA passed away at Prince William Hospital. Karen was an enthusiastic "sports-mom" always encouraging her kids and neighbors teams in seeking victories, and developing character. She is survived by immediate family, brother Stephen (Chip) Ridzik and sister Elizabeth Mawhorter. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at Sacred Heart, 12975 Purcell Rd., Manassas, VA 20112. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the "Susan G. Komen for the Cure." (www.komen.org)

How sad i am to learn of Karen's passing. I remember so many fun times we as kids had growing up together on Ponderosa Drive! She was always a great pick for softball or anything atheletic. My prayers go out to her family.
