Keith Sugarman Obituary

Keith Ervin Sugarman passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest. Born on May 27, 1965, Keith lived a life characterized by love, kindness, and meaningful connections with those around him.

Keith is survived by his loving spouse, William Stevens; his parents, Richard and Judith Sugarman; his brother, Kenneth Sugarman and spouse Tommy Llewellyn; Keith's sister, Caryn Sugarman Stein; his nephew, Brett Stein; and his niece, Jessica Stein DeGirolamo and spouse TJ DeGirolamo; his in-laws John and Betty Stevens; his sister in-laws Gwendolyn Llewellyn, Susan Farish, Elizabeth Dwyer and spouse Alan Dwyer, Patti Mooney, Kathleen Ferry and spouse Jack Ferry, Donna Lawson and spouse David Lawson; and many nieces and nephews, especially Sara, Kerin and Taylor.

Throughout his life, Keith touched the hearts of many with his warm spirit and genuine compassion. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, 10 a.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC 20016.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arlington Animal Welfare League (awla.org), reflecting Keith's love and concern for animals. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
