MEREDITH THOMAS TOMLINSON, 91

July 25, 1915 - October 18, 2006

Mr. Meredith Thomas Tomlinson of Dumfries, VA, formerly of Lunenburg Co., died Wednesday, October 18th, 2006 at his residence. He was a Building Trades Supervisor at the Washington Navy Yard and a World War II Army Veteran. Mr. Tomlinson is survived by his wife, Willie Burge Tomlinson; his son, Colonel M.T. Tomlinson, Jr. of Fairfax Station, VA; three sisters, Hazel Amos of Corpus Christi, TX, Ruth Patterson of Farmville, VA and Vivian Donahoe of Marion, MI; a grandson, M.T. Tomlinson, III; two granddaughters, Kristine M. Toth and Heidi M. Houlst; and three great grandchildren Joseph, Amada and Nadia Toth. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 21 at 2 p.m. in CROWDER-HITE-CREWS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, South Hill, Virginia, with burial in Crestview Memorial Park with Masonic Rites and American Legion Military Honors. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be sent to:
