Morris Range Obituary
He was 95 years old.
Morris served in the Navy for 40 months from 1955 to 1959. Morris' time in the Navy helped him in his work with Westinghouse when he was involved with the Navy Special Projects Office as they tried to find a Soviet submarine that mysteriously sank in 1968. He considered this the most important work he did with Westinghouse and the Navy.
Morris actively supported the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in Baltimore and the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
He was a loving father and is survived by his four children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Morris's life will be celebrated in Riderwood Chapel, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904 on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 3 p.m.

Morris was the kindest man. I remember him coming with my grandma to watch my older sisters soccer games. I enjoyed his company and his infectious smile. I remember when he showed me his first great grandchild. Morris made everyone in his life happy and he will be missed

I will forever be grateful for Morris's presence in my life and my grandmother's (Marlene Blevins). I cherish the time I spent with Morris and my grandma and our various outings to get lunch or go to the Baltimore Museum of Art while I was living in Maryland. One of my fondest memories I have with Morris was attending the Johns Hopkins Nursing Awards night where he was honored with the Longtime Donor Award from the Dean, a perfect reflection of his kindest and dedication to others. I will miss him dearly.

Morris was a dear friend of my mother, Marlene Blevins. I spent a lot of time with him and even after my mother passed sway we kept n touch mainly me sending him cards when he could no longer hear on the phone . He was a kind and generous man who knew what it meant to care for others. I will miss him. He was a deeply religious person and I know he´s gone home to his God. Our pain is the price for his peace. Condolences to all who loved him.
