Norman S. Alpher D.D.S.

Deanna (Rothschild) Alpher and her very dear children, Jeffrey Alpher and Haley Kaufman, Stephen and Christiane Alpher and Julie and Daniel Scharfstein, mourn the passing of their cherished husband and father, NORMAN STANLEY ALPHER, D.D.S, who passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He was the son of the late Robert and Frieda Barsky Alpher. He leaves his brother, Richard (Nancy) Alpher, and his sister, Rita (the late Rusty) Glazer. He was blessed with eight grandchildren whom he loved deeply and unconditionally, Zane, Reese and Brock Alpher, Jack and Sam Alpher and Kayla, Ava and Nadia Scharfstein. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. Shiva will be observed at the late residence through Sunday.
