Survived by his wife of 55 years Barbara Norton O'Brien; sister, Mary Lou Waugh (David); and a large family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Patrick Michael O'Brien.
Visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 28 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Silver Spring, MD; where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:45 a.m. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
