ROBERT ANDREW HEIER (Age 59)
On November 18, 2006 of Waldorf, MD. Survived by his wife, Helen B. Heier; children, David L. Moreland, Jr., Darren A. Heier and fiancee, Jenny Austria, and Joann F. Acton and husband, Glenn. Also survived by one brother, Thomas Sinclair Heier. Friends received on Sunday, November 26, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. at RAYMOND FUNERAL CHAPEL, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bryantown, MD with interment following at Church Cemetery. Memorials to Kiwanis Club of Waldorf, P.O. Box 723, Waldorf, MD 20604. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service, La Plata, MD (301-934-2920).

I worked with Bob when he was employed by the firm of Johnson, McCordic and Thompson. That was sometime back in the mid 1970's, but I still remember him as a fellow with a good sense of humor, yet very professional. I am sorry to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

Bob touched so many and will be truly missed. His professionalism was appreciated and admired, but even more importantly his character, personality, concern and love of his fellow man was a blessing and gift to us all. We consider ourselves lucky to have been touched by his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all even though we can't be there in person.
