ROBERT L. LORENZ "Bob" (Age 89)
On January 16, 2016, Bob died at his residence surrounded by his family in Gaithersburg, MD. Dear husband for 50 years of Jane; devoted father of daughter Debbie Hokanson of Frederick, MD; daughter Karen and son-in-law Brian Eaton of Germantown, MD; beloved grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of five. Bob is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Hazel, and brother George from Philiadelphia. Bob was a Navy veteran, avid musician and cherished his family. He was loved and admired by anyone who had the good fortune of meeting him. Bob will be remembered for his infectious smile, funny stories, creativity, and admiration for his wife and family. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. James'' Episcopal Church in Potomac, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob''s name to Holy Cross Hospice.

Oh how true and beautifully written. Dean & I will certainly miss seeing Pop Pop, but will never forget him or his warm smile. One remarkable man for sure that we feel very privileged to have gotten to know. Much love and prayers to his precious family!!
