ROBERT W. MILNER, SR. (Age 60)
On Thursday, January 24, 2019, Robert W. Milner, Sr., peacefully departed this life. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sia Milner, three children, Robert, Jr. (Yolanda), Nicholas and Talitha; two grandchildren; six siblings, and a host of family and friends. Homegoing service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, at Beulah Baptist Church, 5820 Dix Street, NE. Visitation, 10 to 11 a.m. Celebration at 11 a.m.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Mr. Milner at Hart MS but I really got to know him when the twins were born. He asked me to pray for them. I did not know that he was ill but that's ok because death marks the beginning, not the end. Death is our journey to God. May he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Mr. Milner at Hart Middle School for many years. He was always so positive and had a way about him that showed he enjoyed his work and we shared many laughs together. Gone too soon.

I would like to send condolences to the Milner Family. Bobby and I met when I was 12 years old on the Club East Track & Field Team and developed a great big brother and sister relationship. We did not talk a lot as we got older but when needed we were there. He was a phenomenal role model for Us. Growing up poor and showing Me how to get out. Thank you! Bobby until We meet again. How many wonderful memories I have from our high school days at H.D. Woodson. I will always remember that vibrant smile and our many moments of laughter. My deepest sympathy to the Milner family. Robert and I attend H.D. Woodson Sr. High school in D.C. We also ran Track and Field in school. The last time I saw him was at our 25th class reunion. May the Lord give you all comfort doing the time. John 14:1 God bless!
