ROSEMARY McPHILLIPS

Rosemary McPhillips  (Age 94)  
Of Silver Spring, a veteran of television production and public relations, died May 19, 2021. Rosemary was born in Kansas City, MO, and attended Georgian Court College in New Jersey. She worked at NBC Television Network in its early years and later as a marketing communications professional, retiring from Sony in 1992. Rosemary was an active volunteer, most recently as a lector at Our Lady of Grace and St. Patrick's churches in Silver Spring and reader for the blind at The Washington EAR.Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Hugh McPhillips, brothers, Bernard, James, and Leonard Quigley, and sister-in-law, Connie Quigley. She is survived by children, Dr. Brian (Janice) McPhillips of Hingham, MA; Maureen McPhillips Allen (Michael) of Denver, CO; Michael (Terri) McPhillips of Columbus, OH; and Anne-Marie McPhillips (Ralph Quintanilla) of North Potomac, MD; and nine grandchildren, (Jennifer McPhillips, Colin McPhillips, Emily McPhillips, Brendan Allen, Julian Allen, Michelle McPhillips, Denis McPhillips, Casey Quintanilla, and Halle Quintanilla).A funeral mass will be held on June 4, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Potomac, followed by private burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring.
