On Monday, February 7, 2005. Beloved son of Thomas L. (Peg) Thornton, Sr. and Sherry L. Croson; brother of Kimberly (Fred) Reed and Carrie (Stephen) Smith; grandson of William and Lois Boyle, Emmett Croson and the late Frances Croson, Ernest and Cleone Thornton; uncle of Amanda and Noah Reed. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call at BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME, 4400 Powder Mill Rd., Beltsville, MD, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11416 Cedar Ln., Beltsville, MD, on Friday, February 11 at 10 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Special School, 140 Stepney Lane, Edgewater, MD 21037.
