TAMARA SUE GRAY "Tami" (Age 55)
On Tuesday, September 9, 2014, of Mt. Airy, MD; beloved wife of 14 years of Steven Ray Gray; sister of Chris R. Woods of Jessup, Tony Woods of Beltsville and Sheryl Smith (Glenn) of Bowie; aunt of Bo Rivard, Brittnie Rivard and Krystal Woods. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD where a time of sharing will begin at 3 p.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Mt. Airy and Stauffer Crematory, Frederick. To my big sister you were always there for me more then you know. I always looked up to you,you were there holding my hand when it was time to let mom go. I always felt safe knowing you had my back and you always had my back. To loose our parents was one thing but to loose my beautiful older sister is on a whole different scale. I don't know how I'm gonna get through those dark rides home from work without having you on the phone with me telling me to be careful. And then you would make sure i got in the door safe and ate something before you would say "goodnight baby girl I love you". No one will ever fill this whole in my heart the is reserved for you.
Fly high angel baby your baby sister will forever love you.

Dear Tami...your smile always lit up the room as well as your laugh. Many weekends of parties and fun times were spent with Rob,Bill, you and myself. Even though I didn't see you much in the last few years, our bond as family wasn't broken. All the memories are priceless and precious. Fly high and give Rob a hug from me and Rebekah. I loved Tami like a sister. I always teased her about her being older than me. Of course, it was only by 8 months; but it was true. I once got a birthday card reflecting the same. We laughed for years about it. I always appreciated Tami's incredible burst of energy when it came to family and friends. Everyone was so important to her in her everyday life. I always felt so energized with her love of life itself. I will hold her close to my heart always!
