General Flynn was a warm and compassionate man. I had the privilege and honor to serve with him and he was always found to be with the soldiers he served. He was the officer that I asked to administer the oath of re-enlistment back in 1983. He said he would be honored. I have many fond memories of that time and some great pictures too.

In remembrance of our dear friend and neighbor, General Tom Flynn. We always enjoyed seeing him on his daily walks throughout the neighborhood and the conversations we had about his travels, skiing, hobbies, politics and more. We will cherish those memories. For many years, in support of the Rockburn Township HOA, Tom took charge of ordering and installing address numbers on mailbox posts keeping everything uniform and complete. We appreciate his dedication and service to our nation and our community.
May he rest in peace. Mike and Pat Coury

Tom was our neighbor for over 35 years. We will remember his bountiful garden he planted and harvested every year. Passing by him on the one of his many daily walks. Also, we will miss his smile and wave as he was sitting in his lawn chair in the garage and we drove by. Our condolences to Alice and his entire family. May Tom Rest In Peace .

General Flynn was the best! He always had time to spend a few moments of his time to speak with others. He will never be forgotten ... the best of the best! Working for him was such a joy.
