Thomas G. Stumpf
On February 28, 2017 Thomas "Tom" Stumpf died of brain cancer peacefully at home under Hospice Care. Tom was born on March 26, 1940 in Lakemont, PA to George and Geraldine (née Corl) Stumpf. Tom is survived by his wife Theresa (Teri), his nieces, Judy Gooding, Jackie Ford, and nephew, Mark Owens, and by his beloved dogs Rocky and Gidgit. Tom served in the Air Force 1958 to 1964. He worked for Health and Human Services as an investigator for 25 years. Friends are invited to Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD, between 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 14720 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD. Interment will be Friday, March 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122. Online condolences may be made atwww.robertevansfuneralhome.com

Teri, I am saddened to learn of Tom's passing. My family and I truly enjoyed the years 1993-2005 when we were blessed by having the best next door neighbors we could have ever wanted. My love and prayers go out to you.
