Vinod Umedbhai Patel  "Vinny"  
On Tuesday, February 5, 2019 went to his eternal sleep. Born in Ankodia, India on January 10, 1940, he was the son of the late Umedbhai Chaturbhai Patel and Kamalaben Umedbhai Patel. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Indira (Indu) Patel, a son, Sandeep (Sandy) Patel of Fairfax, a daughter, Ketna Patel-Robertson, son-in-law, Chris Robertson, two grandchildren, Benjamin and Karishma Robertson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, nieces and nephews, one brother in Texas, two brothers in India and a sister in London England. Lived in India and Africa, educated in London, England, he with wife and family immigrated to the US in 1985 and worked in accounting for Government Contractors, ActioNet, Mandex, Amerind, and Ketron. At Vinny's request, George Washington University will benefit with medical science research. His wife and family are inviting family members, friends, and co-workers to a "Celebration of Life" at the VFW location of 1051 Spring Hill Rd, McLean, VA 22102 on Friday, February 15 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
