Dr. Romejko helped me get my first pair of contact lenses in 1963. He was, from day one, the measure against which every one of my doctors since has been held. His warmth and interest and good humor and skill combined to make him the perfect doctor. When I came back from Africa, I brought him a little bronze statue and he treated it as if it was the best present he'd ever received. I am so glad he had many years to spend with his family and friends. I know he'll be greatly missed.

It was an honor and a privilege to know Dr. Romejko and to provide financial services to him. When you were with him, you knew you were in the presence of an intelligent, scholarly, wise man.
I will always remember his talent for storytelling, his upbeat enthusiasm, and how his sense of humor put a twinkle in his eye and a smile on my face.
I am thankful, Dr. Romejko, that our paths crossed in our journey through life.
Rest in peace and God bless you always, Dr. Romejko!

Dr Romejko was one of my role models that led me to become an Ophthalmologist. I still have some of the surgical instruments he gave me. I will always cherish his memory.

In my father, I have a model of what a human being can be: loving, generous, kind, funny, intelligent, noble, deep, curious, diligent, delightful, and so much more. He's a great model who served his family, country, church, and patients with meticulous care.
I love you, Pop. I love you so much. How fortunate we are that you lived such a long life with courage and charm.
Thank you for a life time of love. I cherish every moment.
Love,
Paula (daughter)
