Thomas More, the patient saint of lawyers said, "It's wrong to deprive someone else of a pleasure so that you can enjoy one yourself, but to deprive yourself of a pleasure so that you can add to someone else's enjoyment is an act of humanity by which you always gain more than you lose." That is the life he lived and the example he set. He sacrificed for others and raised a family of men and women who do the same. And he is reunited with Anna Marie, the love of his life, his inspirer, his guide. They are in heaven, still guiding, loving, smiling and laughing.

My wonderful Godfather! May you rejoice in Joy in the Presence of Our Lord and your Anna Marie and all the family and Saints! My Godfather has lived well, laughed often, and loved so much! I am so proud to be the niece who called you Godfather and always felt I was the lucky one!!! You lived such a successful prominent life - you gained the respect of intelligent men but also the love and admiration of us when we were children through today! Thank you for leaving this world better than you found it! Though you will be greatly missed - you have left an integral legacy of honor and love that lives on in your beautiful family! Rest in His love!
