REESE, YOLANDA YVETTE

On November 26, 2001 at Providence Hospital. Beloved daughter of Herman and Janie Reese; loving sister of Rhonda Reese. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. On Wednesday, November 28, 2001, memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. at New Samaritan Baptist Church, 1100 Florida Ave., NE, Bishop Kelsey, Pastor. Further services and interment in High Point, NC on Saturday, December 1. Contact Haizlip Funeral Home, Inc., 336-882-4134.

I can't believe you are gone and I'll never see you again on this earth. I will see you again - IN GLORY. I miss you so much. I miss those long talks we used to have about "HOW GOOD GOD IS". I thank God for bringing you into my life. I can still remember that first day you came to DOJ, all bright eyed and excited about being here in DC and those very loud mornings. Girl, you have truly left your impression behind for us to treasure. I look forward to being with you again. I'll think of you always. T.

My Friend: Oh how I miss you. You left me so quickly. I didn't even get to say good-bye. Yvette you impacted my life and I shall forever be grateful to God for placing you in my life. Our time together here was short, but I look forward to that day when we shall be reunited forever. Yvette, you are a jewel, one of God's special children. I prayed that God would not take you from us. I believed He would heal you. I still don't understand why He took you so soon. But, I know He knows what is best. Therefore my beloved sister, I commend you into the hands of the One who will never let you fall, the one who gave His life for you and shall love you throughout eternality. So long my Friend. I love you and will cherish your memory forever.

Bye the way girl -- you looked so beautiful and peaceful at your homegoing service. Thank you for our time together. I now know why you were so easy to love. God placed you in a very loving family, who showered you with love and that love radiated through you to others. Thanks for showing us how to love unconditionally.

Graceful, elegant, wise and beautiful...are some of the words I would use to describe our dear Yvette. Yvette - I will miss your beautiful countenance and smile that just shines like the sun. I will miss your special laughter and how your face lights up with delight and joy. I am so grateful we had some special moments together before you left us to be with our Heavenly Father! I think of the time - about a month ago, in your office where we shared our faith together. You praised Jesus joyfully with that beautiful smile of yours and happily exclaimed how 'God is so good.' You expressed how you wanted others to also know just how good He is. That was such a special moment of praising and worshiping God together and I will cherish it always! Yvette was endearing, charming, engaging... The adjectives don't do her justice. She had the brightest smile in the world and when she smiled at me, I would magically feel all my worries dissipate. Yvette trusted God and believed that whatever happened happened because God willed it. I am sure that she is at peace with the Lord. However, I am going to miss Yvette always!
