Frank Sutton Obituary

Sutton, Frank A.

Frank A. "Butch" Sutton's admirable battle with cancer ended on April 12, 2014 at his home in Weston with his family at his side.

Frank was born on February 12, 1949 in Dallas, the son of Henry and Billie (Breckenridge) Sutton. Frank married Deborah Biese on October 15, 1977 in Kimberly, WI. She survives.

Frank attended Duncanville (Texas) High School and enlisted in the US Navy in 1966. Frank served aboard the USS Iwo Jima in SE Asia including Vietnam until his discharge from active duty in 1969.

Frank and Deborah founded Sutton Transport in 1979 with a single pickup truck. The business continues to this day and has grown to five locations with a fleet of 75 trucks and employs over 150 people.

Frank had numerous hobbies including golf, fishing, RVing; he attained his private pilot's license in 1984. Frank treasured his family and time spent "up north." Later in life Frank most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Frank is further survived by his mother, Billie Sutton of Venus, TX; brother, Floyd Sutton also of Venus; children, Andrew (Samantha) of Weston, Clifford (Jessica) of Weston, Scott (Nikki Damos) of Milwaukee, and Eric (Megan Lucht) of Rothschild. Frank is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew "Buck" Jr., Charlie, Henry, and Lauren as well as numerous friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Susan Dyer; one brother, Thomas Alvin Sutton; and one son, Thomas Tyler Sutton.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Our Savior's National Catholic Church, 804 Jackson, Street, Mosinee. The Rev. Marion Talaga will officiate. Debbie and Family, My deepest sympathies. Butch never failed to ask us how we are doing, and was always there to lend a helping hand if needed. What he did for Normie and his family, and anyone who crossed his path, was incredible. Will never forget it. He was very generous and had so many good friends. He was a people person. I will truly miss him. He had so much love for his family. RIP Butch. Will never forget you.
