Eldon Fred Kueker

Eldon Fred Kueker, age 91, of Waverly, IA, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Waverly Health Center.
Eldon was born on January 16, 1933, in Bremer, Iowa, the son of Ewald and Eyla (Geffert) Kueker. He graduated from Waverly High School in 1951. Eldon then entered the United States Army in 1954, serving in Germany. On September 16, 1978, Eldon was united in marriage to Jeanette Fangmeier-Stuber at First Lutheran Church in Waterloo, Iowa. During his life Eldon worked for Thermogas in Waterloo, Carnation/Swiss Valley in Waterloo, Shield Bantam Crane in Waverly, Reed Cadillac in Waterloo, Warren Transport in Waterloo and O'Reily Auto Parts in Waverly where he was known as EK Express.
Eldon's greatest enjoyment in life was being a devoted and doting husband. He also liked helping Brian and Delbert on the farm, collecting toy John Deere Tractors, Carnation milk bottles, and beer lights, attending toy shows and auctions, and watching sports where he rooted for the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs. Eldon was a lifetime member of Cedar Falls AMVETS.
Eldon's memory is honored by: his wife, Jan Kueker of Waverly; son, Tim (Marjie) Stuber of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Delbert Oltrogge of Readlyn and Veryl Buchholz of Tripoli; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters, Lavonne Oltrogge and Marlene Buchholz; and a brother, Don Kueker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and will be live streamed on Kaiser-Corson's YouTube channel. Private graveside services will be at Harlington Cemetery in Waverly. Memorials may be directed to Eldon's family for later designation and online condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com. 319-352-1187
