John P. Flynn, 82, of Oelwein, Iowa, died peacefully on July 28, 2024, at MercyOne Medical Center, Oelwein.
Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday and for one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Iowa.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the Plentiful Pantry.

John worked for Farm Service, Inc. for 29 years. John is survived by his Daughter: Colleen (Dave) Irvine of Stanley; 3 Grandsons; 2 Great Grandchildren; a Sister and a Brother. John was preceded in death by his wife: Mary; son: Jason; 2 brothers.
