Wayne McWaters Obituary

Wayne Curtis McWaters, age 85, a resident of Troy, died Sunday, April 27, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11 am from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Rev. Billy Fortune and Rev. Jason McLeod officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brundidge with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. He is survived by his Daughter: Anita Sanders; granddaughter: Amber Rhodes (Chris); Great-grandchildren: Dalton White, Rylee White, Emily Rhodes; Sister: Winnie Richards (Monroe); sister-in-law, Pam McWaters; and several nieces, nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his wife: Mary McWaters; parents: Grady and Lonnie Mae McWaters; brothers, Johnny McWaters, and Edger McWaters. Serving as pallbearers will be Wendell McWaters, Wyman McWaters, Wesley McWaters, Josh McWaters, Curtis McWaters, and Mark Senn. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Jonah McWaters.
