Erin Anne Werner
February 9, 1966 – August 24, 2024
East Wenatchee, WA
Erin Anne Werner was born in Cheyenne, WY, and passed away unexpectedly in Seattle, WA, on August 24, 2024. Erin always believed that God had a plan for her, and He did- taking her home that day in August.
Erin's childhood was a happy one spent in Colorado, Missouri, and finally Newport Beach, CA, where she graduated from Corona del Mar High School in 1984. Erin was fun to be with - pretty, popular and bright. She was a Varsity Cheerleader and Homecoming Princess. Her sense of humor was wonderful - no one could tell a good story like Erin!
She attended the University of Colorado and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Erin always had a love of food and after college, she followed her passion to the Portland Culinary Institute. After graduation, she became a Chef on private yachts and had many interesting adventures which always resulted in an "Erin story." She loved being on the ocean. Her meals were always creative and delicious. She was happiest in the kitchen- on land or sea. Seattle and finally, Wenatchee, WA, became her home. Judy and John became her Washington family. The many memories with them over the years was a source of joy for Erin. Walks around the lake with her dog, Tucker, were always her favorite activity.
Erin leaves behind her parents, Stan and Judith Wise; her sister, Eden; and brother-in-law, Chris Oeding; her beloved nephew, Gus Oeding; and her uncle, Rolf Werner. Erin's ashes will be taken home to California, and scattered in the ocean beyond Corona del Mar State Beach - her happy place. Erin's beautiful laugh, resiliency and deep love of life will be missed and cherished by all.

Erin was one of my very best friends and a partner in many (victimless) crimes throughout our adolescence. She was lovely, loyal, and hilarious. I love and will miss her.
