Ernest Bennett Obituary

Ernest C Bennett
September 23, 1943 - February 21, 2025
MSgt. Ernest C Bennett left his earthly bonds to join his wife Kathie on Feb. 21 2025 at Central Washington Hospital after a long illness. He was born at Camp Lejune, N.C. to LT. Col. and Mrs. E.C. Bennett Sr. in September 1943. He went into the USAF three days after graduating high school, and served for over 20 years, and a Vietnam Veteran with Commendations. He retired in 1981. He spent the next 30 years working in the technical field as a photocopier technician until health problems forced him to retire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathie and survived by Douglas and Dawn (son, daughter); and brother, John; along with two sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Bobbie Sickles for being a sounding board, and keeping Cliff in check when he needed it, as well as Donna Henson for helping us with Dad through his moods and looking after his day-to-day needs.
He is interred at Tahoma Veterans Cemetery alongside Kathie, who left us in 2021. "Cliff" requested no service. Memorials can be made in his name to St Jude's Hospital. "Together Again Forever" Goodspeed Dad, we miss you. T.

Cliff was a dear neighbor who turned into our dear friend. He was a kind and loyal friend, who loved his wife fiercely. I enjoyed listening to his stories and having him over for his birthday and holidays. You will be in our hearts forever!
