Lorna Lepper Obituary

Lorna Lepper, 93, of Fort Wayne, formerly of New Haven, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at The Terrace at Fort Wayne. Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna (Buuck) Scheumann. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church Soest, Fort Wayne. She retired in 1995 from Bremer's True Value Hardware, New Haven after ten years. She was a hard worker who enjoyed canning, gardening, and quilting. She is survived by her daughter, Coleen (Beach) Harmon; brothers, Clarence (Judy) Scheumann and Donald (Teresa) Scheumann; sister, Ardina Lepper; and grandchildren, Beach (Jerilyn) Harmon and Grace Harmon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lepper in 2002; and siblings, Norman, Marvin, and Wilmer Scheumann. Funeral service is 11 am Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Soest, 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday, August 15, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery.
