Raymond Collins Obituary

Raymond R. Collins, 84, of Angola, Indiana, formerly of West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 16, 2025. He was born on February 1, 1941, in Logan, West Virginia, the son of the late Arthur Collins and Lucy Vaughn. Raymond proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. A man who enjoyed the outdoors, he especially loved fishing and had a lifelong fondness for horses. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Collins; his children, Terry Collins, Duane Collins, Keith Collins, Bobby Collins, Rodney Harshbarger, and Betty Collins; a sister; two brothers; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tammy Renee Collins; a sister; and a brother. Services honoring Raymond's life will be held at a later date.
