Susan Gump Obituary

Susan Lynn Gump, 45, of Anderson, Indiana passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at her residence. She was born January 25, 1980, in Auburn, Indiana to Larry Gump and Margaret Sattison Susan was a homemaker. She loved to color and was very adventurous outdoors. She also enjoyed fishing, catching frogs, and sitting at the racetrack. Surviving are her two children, Guadalupe Macias-Gump of Butler and Mateo Gump of Garrett; her mother and stepfather, Margaret and Henry Sattison of Garrett; her father and stepmother, Larry Gump and Dawn Atkinson of Butler; two sisters, Nina (Chris) Gump of Auburn and Tracy (Josh Betts) Gump of Butler; seven nieces, Dahnay Gump, Hailey Robinson, Madyson Betts, Brittany Gump, Amber Slaybaugh, Nikita Worley, and Mackenzie Coleman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Shewman; maternal grandparents, Dominic and Barbra Lortie; paternal grandparents, Joyce and Lewis Gump; and step grandparents James and Lenora Sattison. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
