Anne Marie Larkin

Anne Marie Larkin (nee Maroney) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 15, 2025. Born in the Bronx, NY, on February 4, 1954, she was the loving daughter of the late James and Eileen Maroney (nee Boland). Upon graduating from St. John the Baptist High School, Anne went on to SUNY Oneonta University and then Stony Brook University, where she earned her Master's degree in Continuing Education. Anne loved science and served as a science teacher in Selden, NY, for many years, where she was revered by her students, whom she cherished. In her free time, Anne enjoyed family camping trips, gathering with friends, all things Irish, and FIRST Robotics with her husband and children. Together, she and her husband started the FIRST Robotics Competition Lansdale Catholic Cyber Crusaders team 272. Above all, Anne's greatest joy in life was her family. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Francis W. Larkin. Together they shared 45 years of marriage, watching their family blossom. She was a devoted mother to Liam Larkin (Lauren), Eileen Larkin (Jacob Miller), Claire Fruth (Jeremy), and Brendan (Chelsea Perugini). She was known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren, Quinn, Ryland, Arya, David, Noah, Wren, and Rory. She was the dear sister to James M. Maroney (Cathy) and Mary Madigan (Patrick), aunt to many, and a friend to all. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to Anne's Life Celebration on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Boyd Horrox Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike. On Saturday, August 30, 2025, guests are welcome to St. Helena Church of Blue Bell, 1489 DeKalb Pike from 9:30 am to 10:20 am with her Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 am. Internment will be private.
