Antoinette "Ann" Fusco, 92, of Upper Salford Township passed away in her home with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Richardson) and Anthony Bernocco. She was married to Anthony Edward Fusco, Jr. with whom she celebrated 71 years of marriage this past January.
Antoinette was the heart and soul of the Fusco family. Her love for God was demonstrated through her servant's heart always serving others selflessly. Her kitchen was the gathering place for countless Sunday dinners, birthdays, holiday celebrations, and family reunions over the years. Bringing the family together was always important to her.
Antoinette's gifts in the kitchen were surpassed only by her boundless capacity for unconditional love for family-and perhaps her uncanny luck playing Go Fish with her children and grandchildren. Her fun sense of humor and playfulness kept even life's quiet or difficult moments lighthearted and memorable. Ann's work ethic was also something to behold, toiling late into the night to ensure her large family was well cared for and well prepared for school, work, church, and life.
Sustained by unwavering faith, Antoinette dedicated her life to God, her husband, and caring for and raising her ten children. Deeply rooted in her community for many decades, she was an active member of her parish, volunteering at bingo nights, lending a hand with parish activities, and working in the school to support her children's attendance. Antoinette was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her indelible mark of nurturing and care will be felt for generations to come.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Anthony, and their children; Anthony E. Fusco, III and wife Linda, Diane Fusco, Stephen Fusco, Joseph Fusco and wife Anne, Susan wife of Steven Sapovits, David Fusco and wife Susan, Alice wife of Thomas Cort, Paul Fusco and wife Stacy, Antoinette wife of Robert LaGrossa, and Christopher Fusco and wife Amy; she will also be remembered by her 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Jean Kane, and brother, Richard Bernocco. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 25th at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073 from 9:30 am to 11 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
