Barry G. Krock, 76, formerly of Lehigh Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 11, 2024 at LifeQuest Nursing Center - Quakertown. Born in Allentown, Barry was a son of the late Elmer and Nellie Krock (Furry).
He was a 1966 graduate of Northampton H.S. and later Bloomsburg University. Barry served our country faithfully in the US Air Force during Vietnam. Barry worked as the Business Manager for Rileigh's Inc. - Allentown.
Throughout his life, Barry found enjoyment in the great outdoors, whether it was skiing down the slopes, perfecting his golf swing or playing horseshoes. Barry was an avid bowler, which included a perfect 300 game. His love for tennis, sailing, and learning about computers reflected his diverse interests and adventurous spirit. Barry's passion for pinochle, camping, and family gatherings, where good food was always plentiful, brought immense happiness to him and to those around him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Scott Krock of Stroudsburg, Eric Krock (Suzanne) of Lehigh Twp. and Jennifer Gerhart (Ross) of Coopersburg; grandchildren: Vio, Parker, Addison and Grant; siblings: Joan Groves (Elliot) of Leesport and Brent Krock (Janice) of Palmerton; nephews and half-brother Elbert "Bert" Krock of Oregon. Barry is predeceased by half-brothers: Ellis W. Krock and Erville W. "Erv" Krock.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Hope Lutheran Church of Cherryville - 4131 Lehigh Dr. - Cherryville, PA 18035. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will follow at New Hope Cemetery- Little Moore.
