Charlotte A. Slifer

Charlotte A. Slifer, 83, of the Borough of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Raymond Slifer and the late Robert F. Long. Born in Quakertown on October 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Esther (Clymer) Elliott. Charlotte worked as a seamstress in the textile industry for many years. She attended St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Applebachsville, and in her free time enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking, reading, and attending yard sales. Survivors include her children: David K. (Cathy A.) Long of Quakertown, and Tina L. Long (Ralph Sulzbach) of Coopersburg; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; step son: James K.Long of Riegelsville. She was predeceased by her siblings Robert, Christine, and Gerald and stepson: Jay R. Slifer.
