Daniel Weber Obituary

Daniel Francis Weber, known affectionately as Dan to his family and friends, passed away on August 20, 2025, in Whitehall, PA, at the age of 40. Born on April 2, 1985, in Langhorn, PA, Dan grew into a man of many talents and boundless kindness, touching the lives of everyone around him. A graduate of Liberty High School's class of 2004 and Bethlehem Votech's HVAC program, Dan dedicated his career to ensuring the comfort of others. He began his journey in the industry with Fritch during his high school years and most recently lent his expertise to Ma Yeakel, where he was revered as a skilled installer, repairman, and servicer. Dan's zest for life was evident in his array of interests. As a member of Boy Scouts Troop 340, he developed a love for the outdoors, which continued into adulthood. He found solace and excitement in mountain biking through rugged trails, hiking amidst the tranquility of nature, and casting a line in the stillness of early mornings for fishing. When winter came, Dan eagerly hit the slopes, carving through snow with the same precision he applied to his work. Not one to stay idle, Dan also cultivated a beautiful garden, tending to it with the same care and attention he gave to all aspects of his life. His love for sports was undeniable, often found cheering on his son's favorite baseball and football teams or engaging in friendly games with friends and family. Dan's life was a testament to dedication, not only in his professional endeavors but in his personal relationships as well. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Crystal VanGorden, and their cherished son, Carter Joseph Weber of Whitehall, who together formed the nucleus of his world. His father, Robert Francis Weber of Doylestown, PA, and his mother, Karen Elizabeth Meyers, alongside her fiancé John Person of Myerstown, PA, remember him with immense pride and affection. His brother, Andrew Stephen Weber of Florida, will forever hold dear the memories they shared, as well as his nephews Jovon Delgado, Dezmond Wann, sister-in-law Melissa Naples, and mother-in-law Susan Naples. The family matriarch, his paternal grandmother Josephine Weber of Richboro, PA, will miss his frequent visits and heartfelt conversations. Dan's bond with his Uncle Thomas Weber and spouse Denise, their daughter Nicole and spouse Brian, and great nephew Cal, was one of mutual respect and love. His Uncle Chuck Meyers with spouse Patricia, and their children, Charles and Nicole, as well as his Aunt Cheryl Rice, her husband Dennis Rice, and their daughter Brittany, will fondly remember Dan for his warmth, humor, and generosity. Dan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Harold Weber, and his maternal grandparents Carl L. Meyers and Elizabeth J. Meyers, who no doubt greeted him with open arms. In every aspect of his life, Daniel "Dan" Francis Weber exemplified a spirit of generosity, commitment, and joy. His untimely departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy of love, hard work, and perseverance will continue to inspire. As we bid farewell to Dan, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life that, though too short, was filled with moments that will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dan was a great father and uncle, known for his unwavering support, quiet strength, and the love he poured into every relationship. As a father, he led by example-always present, always patient, and deeply invested in Carter's life. Whether helping with homework, offering advice, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Dan made sure he felt valued and safe. As an uncle, he extended that same warmth and care, treating his nephews like his own. His sense of humor, kindness, and gentle guidance left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Dan didn't just fill the role-he defined what it meant to be a steady, loving presence in a family. Not only was Dan a great father and uncle, he was also an exceptional son, brother, and grandson. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, where family and friends may pay their respects from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
