Donald Wedde Obituary
Donald C. Wedde, 88, of Moore Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 4, 2025 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Ann Wedde (Markulics) to whom he was married to for 66 years. Born in Allen Township, Donald was a son of the late Charles and Mildred Wedde (Bruch).
Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. A member of Christ Church of Bath, UCC. Donald was the owner and operator of Wedde Auto Center & Sales in Moore Township, where he was known for his unwavering commitment to the community, providing service with integrity and care. His legacy of hard work and dedication will be remembered by all who knew him.
Donald was known for his love of hunting with good friends. He enjoyed collecting and showcasing antique & classic automobiles. His enthusiasm for car shows and his impressive collection brought joy not only to him but to countless others who shared his love for vintage vehicles. His legacy will live on through the memories of the many car enthusiasts he inspired over the years.
In addition to his wife, Donald will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Michael Wedde (Margaret Ramsay Wedde), of Lexington, NC and Jon Wedde (Jamie McIntyre - Wedde), of Deer Trail, CO; grandchildren: Seth, Alex, Chris, Galen, Sean, James and Stephen; great grandchildren: Luke, Natalie and Juniper; brother: Claire "Barney" Mills. Donald was predeceased by siblings: Carl Mills, Kenneth Wedde and Irene Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held privately. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. Moorestown- Bath
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Christ Church of Bath, UCC - 109 S. Chestnut St, Bath, PA 18014.

To the Wedde family. My sincere condolences on hearing the terrible news of Donald Weddes passing( i have only just found out here in the U.K).
Donald Wedde was one of lifes top gentlemen, always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. Me and my dad was very lucky and thankful to have spent many wonderful times with Donald, and Ruthann Wedde when visiting the USA going on road trips to famous landmarks and many classic car shows.
I am so sorry to hear of Donald Weddes passing, he truly was a larger than life character and brought joy and happiness to everyone he meet with his funny jokes and many life stories. Donald Wedde truly was a gentlemen with a fantastic personality.
I have lost a truly wonderful friend who made me laugh louder and smile longer and i am incredibly saddened to hear of his passing, he will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
My condolences to Ruthann,Mike,John,Seth and the rest of the Wedde family.
Thanks for everything you ever did for me Donald Wedde, all your help,surport,love and friendship you will be missed, Bath PA wont be the same without you.

Dear Ruth and family
I was so saddened to learn of Donald's passing. Sorry I didn't get up the last time with pastor for a visit. My thoughts will always be of the way he held your hand during church services. You are so very lucky to have a love like that. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

i remember Don from my days at Smith and Peifley auto parts delivering arts to him. always had a nie greeting and a thank you. my sincere condolences to the family but know that he was a fine person God Bless his soul.

I am sad to see of Don's passing. I've known him since 1967 and have been pleased to have known him the whole time.
I just stopped at his home 2 years ago to catch up with him.
It was still a pleasure. His sons, Mike and Jon, swam at my quarry before they went off to advance their lives. Don was a great neighbor...he'll be missed. God bless you all.
