Evan Klein Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Evan Klein announce his passing on Monday August 18, 2025. Evan was the cherished son of Eun and Mark Klein. He was born in NYC and grew up in Wayne, PA. Evan was smart and witty. He enjoyed playing video games and was a fan of anime. Evan loved working out and weightlifting in his home gym with his brothers and hiking. Every evening, he would walk for five miles carrying a 50-pound backpack. When his rottweiler Tuco joined the family, Evan would take him along. Tuco, however, was a bit too lazy to keep up with Evan's intense workouts. Evan also loved his Philadelphia sports teams, especially the 76ers which he held season tickets for. Additionally, he was very interested in genealogy and hoped to explore South Korea someday. Along with his parents, Evan is survived by his dear brothers Eric and Christian, a sister Tanya Davis, and his grandparents Anneliese and Nicholas Dellaportas. Evan will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends who loved him dearly. He is predeceased by his beloved aunt Kali Ieromonahos who adored him. Evan "as long as there is grief [we] will endure it because it means that you were here and it mattered" (Liz Newman, I Look to the Mourning Sky). A Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 26, 2025 from 2pm - 4pm at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home, 516 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. https://afsp.org/
