Frank Maitski

Frank Maitski, 97, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown. Born on February 15, 1928 in Ormrod, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander and Anna (Ludinsky) Maitski. He graduated from South Whitehall High School (now, Parkland High School) and enlisted in the United States Navy. He served two years during WWII. Five years after his honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth "Betty" (Hrynkiw) with whom he celebrated over 65 years of marriage before her passing in 2019. Frank was a very active member of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church in West Easton, PA. He was a chemical operator with J.T. Baker Chemical Company until his retirement. Providing for the family he cherished was his mission in life. He enjoyed making wonderful memories with them. In his spare time, he collected coins, finding a rare coin delighted him. Frank is survived by his sons, Tom Maitski of West Easton, Frank D. Maitski and his wife, Lori of San Jose, CA, Charles Maitski of St. Cloud, FL; daughter-in-law, Malou Cachero; daughters, Marie Faust and her husband, Bill of Allentown, Patty Barr and her husband, Mike of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Teresa, Matthew, Bill, Andrew, Kevin, Emily, Julianne, Kaitlyn, Alex; and great-grandchild, Luca. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Farmersville Road, Bethlehem, PA.
