George Robert Moulder

George Robert Moulder, 72, of Trooper, PA, passed away on March 29, 2025, at Pottstown Hospital. Born in Norristown, PA, on January 28, 1953, George was the son of the late Elwood and Claire (Miller) Moulder. George graduated from Methacton High School and went on to work for Trailmobile before moving into sales as an insurance agent for American Business Insurance Services (ABIS) in Lansdale, PA, and later at Ben Brown Insurance in Sarasota, FL. He discovered an early passion for martial arts through the art of Shotokan when he joined Pat Byrnes' Bushi Karate in Lansdale, PA, and later deepened his training with his karate family through the study of Aiki-jujitsu. While living in Florida, he opened his own martial arts school-also named Bushi Karate-in North Port. He offered free self-defense classes for women and children throughout his practice, sharing his deep admiration for the art and his knowledge of the principles of Bushido. He had a love for motorcycles and proudly owned a Kawasaki. George was also a fan of comic books-especially Superman-which sparked his love of sketching, art, doodling, and all things creative. A self-proclaimed movie buff, he developed his enthusiasm from watching late-night horror films with his father, and later enjoyed anything that brought his comic book heroes and martial arts passions to life. In his later years, he discovered a love for ballroom dancing, which is where he met his beloved girlfriend, Elaine Friday. George was also a proud Freemason and loved tinkering with classic cars while honing his mechanical skills. George is survived by his children, Sandra (Chris) Sauer, Robert Moulder, and Amy Moulder; his grandchildren, Jake Sauer, Elise Sauer, and Blake Piechocki; his ex-wives, Kathleen Suha and Wendy Kaiss; and his siblings, Mary Quintrell, Phyllis Nelson, and June Roshong.
