John J. "Jack" Gallo

John J. "Jack" Gallo, 81, of Bushkill Township, PA, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025. Born January 5, 1944, in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late John J. Gallo, Sr. and Kathleen (Johnson) Gallo. His wife of 52 years, Joann (Murray) Gallo, passed away December 11, 2014. Jack graduated from Eddystone High School. He retired in 1989 as a maintenance supervisor from the former Binney & Smith, now Crayola, where he worked for 26 years. Jack enjoyed traveling, beach vacations, cruises, and trips to Foxwood Casino. He was an avid Eagles fan. Surviving is a daughter, Joann Herb and her husband Joseph, with whom he last resided; two brothers, Gerard Gallo, of Marcus Hook, PA and Bernard Gallo and his wife Shirley, of Wilmington, DE; two grandchildren, Ryan Trittenbach and his wife Makayla, of Clarksville, TN and Trevor Trittenbach, of Wilson Borough; three great-grandchildren, Austin Messinger, Josie and Grady Trittenbach; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline M. Trittenbach, and her husband Dean R. Trittenbach, and a brother, Donald Gallo. Services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, August 27th in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Wednesday 9:30-10:30am in the funeral home.
