Joseph Armstrong Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Townsend Armstrong III, age 70, of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday August 20, 2025. Born in Sumter, South Carolina he was the son of Joseph T. and Jean Ann (Brewer) Armstrong Jr. Joe was residing in the Albrightsville area for the past 23 years. He was employed as an aircraft Mechanic with the Scott Richards Aviation of Allentown, Pennsylvania for 5 years and prior to that with Stand Aero Company for 25 years. Joe was a Navy Veteran, and he was of the catholic faith. He is survived by his children: Joseph Ryan Armstrong of Pocono Summit, PA; Justin David Armstrong; Christina Armstrong; former wife Janet Armstrong, six grandchildren, siblings: Michelle Norton and her husband, Jesse; William B. Armstrong; and Lisa Armstrong. Private cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Burial of his ashes will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA.
