Joseph Edward Everitt

Joseph Edward Everitt, 71, of Saylorsburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Carmella (Tomaino) Everitt. Joseph was a long time Warehouse Associate at A & H Sportswear prior to retirement. In addition to his lifetime role of active listening, giving advice and hugs, Joseph was a painter and over the years painted billboards for many local events in the Poconos. A self-proclaimed wallflower, Joseph was a former guitar player and an avid lover of music. He was a lifetime fan of the Beatles and most recently, the artist REN. He was preceded in death by parents and his sister, Linda Everitt-Teada, He is survived by his beloved daughter, Stephanie T. Baumert (husband, Michael B. Baumert) of Saylorsburg; grandson(s) Michael (Amy) Baumert, Steffen (Koral) Baumert, Charlie (Anna) Baumert; great-grandson, Kaedin Baumert; niece and "Beastie" Tina Lipyanic; nephew, Phillip B. Lipyanic, Jr. (wife, Sheila L. Holmes) of Bethlehem; great-nieces, Bailey Lipyanic, Victoria-Lynn C. Lipyanic and Valerie-Lynn C. Lipyanic, Bailey Lipyanic and great-nephew, Ryan P. Lipyanic (wife, Marina) and extended family members, Elaine Day and Brent Eakin. Funeral services will be private on a later date at the convenience of the family.Services: A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to William H.
