Louis Serva

Louis Serva, affectionately known to all as "Uncle Lou," 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Phoebe Richland. Having previously resided in Philadelphia and Allentown and originally born in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late Ubaldo Serva and the late Anna (Marcoccia) Serva. He was a graduate of J.W. Cooper High School where he excelled at baseball and football. Lou spent his career as an insurance salesman. He loved nothing more than the New York Yankees and could always be found either listening to a game on the radio or watching on television. Lou volunteered as a coach an umpire for his children's sports and also enjoyed cooking, baking, birds, listening to the music of the classic Crooners, and telling corny jokes. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn, and son, Dominic, married to Christine. In addition, he leaves behind his brother, Angelo, and many cherished nieces, nephews and a beloved extended family. He is predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Linda (Nizinski) Serva, and siblings Vincent, Felix, and Mary. Services: A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 W Hamilton Street, Allentown.
