Richard Ritter Obituary

Richard C. Ritter, Jr., 92, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, So. Whitehall Twp. He was the husband of the late Bettyann (Fletcher) Ritter who passed away in March 2025. Born in Allentown, Richard was the son of the late Anna (Feichtl) and Richard C. Ritter, Sr. He was a graduate of Allentown H.S. Richard was a shipping and receiving clerk for over 30 years. He worked for Allentown Pneumatic Gun Co., G & S Fasteners and L.V. Hospital, Cedar Crest before retiring in 2017. Richard was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching football, especially the Eagles. Survivors: Sons: Daniel R. Ritter of Allentown, Terry S. Ritter of Somersworth, NH; Daughters: Karen L. Nater and her husband Paul of Tampa, FL, Sheri L. Henry and her husband Mike of Sebring, FL; Sister: Marcia Vlahovic of Macungie; 5 grandchildren, 1 step-granddaughter, 3 great-grandchildren. Services: 1 pm Monday, Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106. Call 12 – 1 pm Monday in the funeral home.
