Born on April 6, 1953, in Allentown, PA, Booby was a man whose warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew him. Booby's life was one marked by devotion to his family, commitment to his work, and involvement in his community. He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 35 years, Susan (Albus) Evans, and their children: Ronald I. Evans Jr. and his wife Amy of Macungie, Christopher Evans and his wife Andra of Arlington, TX, and Angela Georgis of Philadelphia. Booby was predeceased by his parents, Irvin Evans and Frances (Wetherold) Evans, and his sisters, Dorothy Evans and Mary Ballek. A proud graduate of Salisbury High School's class of 1971, Booby carried with him the lessons and friendships he made during those formative years throughout his life. His strong work ethic was evident to all who knew him, as he dedicated many years of service to Bethlehem Steel. Even after his well-earned retirement, Booby's influence remained in the stories and wisdom he passed down to his colleagues and friends. Booby's commitment to his community was unwavering.
