Roy E. Seems

Roy E. Seems, 93, of Summit Hill, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Phyllis M. "Honey" (Leonzi) Seems, who passed away on Aug. 1, 2015. Born in Grace Hill, Iowa, he was a son of the late Roy L. Seems and Ann (Etta) Seems. Roy worked at the former A & P Market in Stroudsburg as a head cashier and assistant manager for 34 years, retiring in 1985. He then became a substitute teacher, having taught for several years, and became a member of the PASR. Surviving are his stepchildren, Terri Kumler of New Cumberland and John Zaengle, and his wife, Natalie, of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Stephanie, Danielle, Benjamin, Jessica and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Thatcher, Vanessa and Landis; a sister-in-law, Pat Matika; his godson, Daniel Matika, and his wife, Val; and nieces and nephews. Celebration of life service 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8, Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill. Interment at convenience of family. Call 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 8.
