It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia Waters, 70, on Tuesday May 20th, 2025, where she passed surrounded by her family. A long time resident of New Britain CT, she was an avid crafter who touched the lives of all who knew her. Surviving are her five sons; Jason Bitner, David Waters, Charles Dinges, Preston Rutledge and Harrison Rutledge and her four grandchildren. Cynthia was born on June 20th, 1954 in New Britain CT. She was predeceased by her brother David Bitner, whom her family cared deeply for. Cynthia had lived for a period of time in Key West FL where she had begun to raise her own family. She was an incredibly passionate and dedicated individual that cared for anyone in her life. Cynthia was a longtime worker for Atlantis Management Group and a friend to many local libraries and poodle-maltese mixes. Her burial at Fairview Cemetery, located at 120 Smalley St, New Britain, CT will be held at 10am on her day of birth, June 20th.
