Francis Fasano Obituary

Francis "Fritz" Fasano Jr., 73, of Suffield, passed away peacefully on Friday August 22, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Fritz was born on December 29, 1951 in Waterbury, CT to Lillian (DiMeco) Fasano and Francis "Fuzzy" Fasano Sr. Fritz spent the past 40 years as a resident of Suffield, CT along with his wife Jenifer (Patric) Fasano. Loving father to his son Timothy Fasano and his wife Catherine of Cumming, GA , son Nicholas Fasano and daughter Gabrielle Fasano of Suffield, CT. Fritz had incredible work ethic and people skills making him a cornerstone in the meat industry. Starting as a teen working in his fathers store, learning the trade of a Meat Cutter. Fritz held several positions during his career as a manager, buyer/seller and spent 20 plus years, retiring as Vice President with Waybest Foods. He was the epitome of a family man, From coaching little league to attending school events he was always there. Sundays were always family time, cooking great meals to share and ending in even better kitchen table conversations Fritz leaves behind his brother, Ronald Fasano and his wife Traci of West Dennis, MA, his brother Michael and his wife Michele of Bonita Springs FL, and his sister Grace Fasano and her husband William of Atlanta, GA, his sister-in-law Lauren Patric of Wilbraham, MA, his sister-in-law Priscilla Patric and her husband Cameron of Glastonbury, CT, his sister-in-law Kimberly Patric and her husband Jack of Kennebunk, ME as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and too many friends to count. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. A funeral home service will take place at 6:00 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hartford HealthCare at Home.
