Frederick Muzynski Obituary

BARKHAMSTED Frederick W. Muzynski, Jr., 70, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with COPD. He was the loving husband of Beverly (Phelps) Muzynski for 40 wonderful years. Born April 17, 1954 in Hartford; the son of the late Frederick Muzynski, Sr., and Patricia (Rogers) Muzynski. Rick was an avid outsdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. For over ten years, he and his wife took the family to Lake Ontario. He also had a wonderful laugh that made his family all smile. In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves a beloved daughter, Laura Douaihy and husband Joseph of New Hartford; cherished grandsons, Evan Douaihy and wife Jamie Carr of NYC and Andre Douaihy and wife Abby of New Hartford; great grandson, Isaac Douaihy of NYC; brothers, Robert Muzynski of East Granby and Kenneth Muzynski and wife Carol of FL and nephew, Justin Muzynski and wife Kayleigh of FL. He also leaves his best bud and beloved dog, Monkey. He was predeceased by a brother, Martin Muzynski. A Celebration of Life will be held at a time to be announced.
